Joe's expertise in science and education and his drive to create the best teaching methods possible are what make East Bay Tutoring the Bay Area's top math and science tutoring company. Joe is responsible for recruiting and training tutors, maintaining the website, running all of the day-to-day activities of East Bay Tutoring, and still tutors full-time himself. A former Minnesota state speech champion, Joe is very personable, professional, quick-witted, and has a great sense of humor. Joe knows every East Bay student personally and sees to it that they receive the quality of instruction East Bay Tutoring promises to deliver.

The Tutors

East Bay Tutoring is comprised of a team of 10 Berkeley Ph.D. students, Master's students, and Post-Doctoral Fellows. We currently have tutors with Ph.D.s obtained, or in progress, in the following areas of study:
